Temp Agencies Show Strong Growth in Sluggish June Jobs Report

Jobs created in June – 80,000 non-farm jobs and 84,000 private sector jobs – were fewer than predicted, but slightly better than April and May.  The unemployment rate stayed at 8.2 percent. Temporary workers marked one of very few strong growth areas, increasing by 25,000. In this summer jobs slump, our industry continues to flourish.
