How important is your work environment to you? Where does it fall in importance compared to compensation, job security, work life balance, job duties, and other factors?
According to a recent survey of 7,000 participants, conducted IMCA International and Randstad, most workers value a positive work environment above everything else when searching for a new employer. While salary is obviously important, workers do not want to achieve financial success at the expense of their day-to-day happiness at work.
With this in mind, does your organization place a high priority on creating the right culture? That means hiring people who fit in with your organization and your clearly defined mission – and in effect, attracting the right people, who realize they want to work in such an environment.
